The Five of Cups: “This figure in black represents those feelings unseen or unacknowledged within us, in black for shadow, and also for mourning. This is because there is a trio of cups with spilled red, or the heart, in front of him or her. These represent feelings of the past, that must be mourned and moved on from. But, this comes with a sense of relief, for in sight is a white and pure bridge across the rushing river and to the castle in the distance, a place of safety and protection, as well as stability. And don’t think this will leave you empty, for two cups still remain, this will not be a devastating transition, but it will take some effort on your part. Rejoice, however, for this will leave you the better in the end! The Universe has already provided for it.” -Mike
